I declare I love hand quilting!
I really love the process of handling the quilt, as I quilt. The fabric softens as you work and gives it beautiful crinkly used look and feel. I'm about to sew on the binding and then hand sew it down tomorrow at my Friday group. I'll be hand quilting many quilts in my future.

I love hand quilting as well but be careful because you'll want to hand quilt everything and there's just not enough hours in a day to do that!

I'm with you on hand quilting, it's peaceful and medative, and makes me think about the centuries of women who have sat hand quilting their quilts. Your Swoon quilt is a real beauty and handquilting makes it all the more special! Awesome photo!!! Cats and quilts just go together!
